We hand-craft each box at our workshop in Maine. Sides of solid cherry are steamed, bent and fastened with copper tacks. Bottoms and tops — either solid cherry or a hardwood veneered ply, depending on box size — are cut and fitted and held in place with wood pegs. Newly constructed boxes are then carefully sanded and hand-rubbed with a food-safe oil finish before being buffed to a beautiful sheen.

Available in season — late spring to fall, local pickup (Eliot, Maine ).
A generous bouquet that highlights the flowers we are cutting that week. Available for either Tuesday or Friday pickups. Please tell us your desired pickup date on the form at checkout and we will contact you to arrange the details.
Grab hold of dahlia season!
Our Dahlia Bouquet Club comes with 5 weeks of big, beautiful dahlia blooms. Each and every week you’ll receive a large wrapped bouquet full of dahlias freshly harvested at our farm. The bouquet will also include a generous selection of foliage and background stems, such as cosmos and Queen Anne’s lace, specially chosen to complement and enhance the featured dahlias.
The bouquet club starts Tuesday, September 1 and runs until Tuesday, September 29—the peak of dahlia season here in northern New England.
Your flowers will be available after 12 noon each Tuesday, until 6pm the following day. Pick-up location host is the Sturgeon Creek Farm Store, 1651 State Road, Eliot, Maine.
Our Summer Bouquet Club features 7 weeks of beautiful bouquets. Each week you will receive a wrapped bouquet of fresh flowers from our farm. We grow an array of fun and unusual cut flowers, including dahlias, zinnias, rudbeckia, scabiosas, snapdragons, cosmos, celosia, yarrow, and marigolds, as well as beautiful herbs and foliage.
The bouquet club begins Tuesday, August 11 and runs through Tuesday, September 22.

Pasture Raised Chicken
These beautiful bentwood boxes are the gold standard for form meeting function. And with their understated elegance, our boxes hold their own with any decor, from traditional to modern.
We hand-craft each box at our workshop in Maine. Sides of solid cherry are steamed, bent and fastened with copper tacks. Bottoms and tops — either solid cherry or a hardwood veneered ply, depending on box size — are cut and fitted and held in place with wood pegs. Newly constructed boxes are then carefully sanded and hand-rubbed with a food-safe oil finish before being buffed to a beautiful sheen.
Please note that boxes made from cherry will become darker and richer in color with exposure to natural light.
